Multiplications for kids

What does it mean to multiply?

For example: 6 x 2 = 12 (“six multiplied by two equals twelve”) is the operation that indicates that we must add 2 times the number 6 (6 + 6 = 12 equals 6 x 2 = 12). The same logic is used with larger numbers (2 x 5 = 10 equals 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10).

In primary school, multiplication is often learned after having seen addition and subtraction, in that order, and the way in which this operation is presented to them is through the known “multiplication tables”.

How can they learn in a fun way and without the multiplication tables being weighed?
